To Kill a Mockingbird

One of my all-time favorite books, movies, and characters (that rare trifecta), here’s my poster design for the Los Angeles screening of the 1962 classic, To Kill a Mockingbird.

I worked with a simpler line style for my illustration to capture the characters in a pure form.

 I chose Atticus (Gregory Peck) and Scout (Mary Badham) as the subjects for the poster because, to me, their relationship encapsulates the main themes of the film and book, morality, innocence, and a reckoning of the world’s complexities.
