There are few films that have spawned decades of copycat fashion like Woody Allen’s 1979 classic Annie Hall. Diane Keaton combined both her own style, with hints of Katherine Hepburn’s, to create a wonderfully androgynous, nerdy chic phenomenon. Add to that her charmingly neurotic portrayal of her fictional self (her real last name is Hall, and her nickname is Annie) and you have one of the best female characters in film. Even if you’re not as adventurous to copy the iconic tie, hat and blazer look there are other outfits that beg to be re-imagined. I for one am going to try to pull off the black turtleneck under a loose, strap dress look this Fall. I "luurve" this film and all of it's fashion and highly suggest a re-watch if you haven't seen it in awhile.
